Hi Gurus ! I am posting Mb1b + 301 and the error appears: Check CLOG table: entry 0000000003331440381155ISCAR  does not exist. I have Split Valuation. Can anybody help me on it? Thanks ! André.


Same Material With Different Specification

Hi Experts,

 

Same Material with Different Specifications,

 

Ex: AC    -  General A/C White color

      AC    -  General A/C Red color

 

Is it possible while creating PO With Material AC, System should pop up specification Color so that i can select the color

 

I tried using material classification but i can give only one color to material AC under classification,

 

Please let me know how can i achieve this,

SAP Report related question

Hi Experts,

 

I was wondering if there is a report in SAP which would Material Number, Batch Number and Last Goods Movement altogether?

Move material master fields to different views

Users keep getting thrown off by fields like MPN and SLED appearing in plant-specific views whereas these are global MARA fields (why did SAP design it this way???). Is it possible to have them appear on the Basic Data tabs instead?

ALE - Send classes (CLSMAS) with filter on CLASS in the Distr. Model.

Hello,

 

I'm setting up an ALE interface to send (among others) the class and characteristics definitions.

The interface is already working, but I need to add filtering criteria on the class name.

 

As soon as I add the CLASS filter, no IDocs are generated anymore.

When checking the filter object types (BD59), I see that (by default) there are two object types defined as CLASS:

However, when setting up the distribution model (BD64) I don't see which of these two I'm selecting. There is no option to indicate the number.

I suspect this to be the root cause of the problem. (I was sending the classes for which I had added filters on CLASS, so I'm confident that it's not due to the datat that there are no IDocs generated)

I thought that maybe a filter on KLART is mandatory when you want to use CLASS, so I also tried adding that, but it made no difference.

 

Does anyone know how this works?

We have a special business scenario to manage under SAP, based on different quantities at different states :

 

PO = Q1 = 1000

Inbound delivery = Q2 = 800

Goods Receipt = Q3 = 600

 

 

We wand to create invoice verification with the inbound delivery quantity, ie, 800 ?

MRP run - Why does it not delete current P-reqs and create new ones

Hi experts

 

 

I am running MRP and it does not seem to be behaving the way I would expect it to.   When a user selects RP type = PD MRP should run, when it does it should delete all of the old req's that have not been converted into PO's and re-create them (or combine where possilbe).  It seems that ours are not being deleted and re-created, just new ones are being created.

 

I have tried the following

1) Program : RMMRP000,  NEUPL, create preq = 1, sch line =3, Create RP list = 1, planning mode = 3, sch = 1, planning date (very old date)

       - when we run this it just adds new purchase reqs to fullfil the new needs vs deleting the old one and creating 1 larger purchase req

2) running MD03 - same parameters with 1 article #

 

We are using retail SAP  - anyone any ideas of where to look?

 

 

Our goal is that every monday we convert the preq to PO,  but during the week we have many customer orders, we would like all of those customer orders demand lumped into 1 Preq vs having N number created

Remove Account assignment category in PO related to other application

Hello,

 

Did anyone of the senior MM colleagues have come across a situation, when materials procured for he order (in my case PM order) with standard account assignment category F in PO (created with reference to PR) have to be posted to a storage location? Posting to storage location is achievable with blank account assignment category, but in this case the relation to a PM order is lost. In my case it should be retained.

 

In one of the projects the resolution was to make enhancement to eliminate the category and still have the account assignment screen. Is there any other option, preferably in keeping with the standard?

Penalties on Vendors.

Hello,

My client is an Indian Government manufacturing unit from south India. The unit has a concept of E-Tenders, awarding tenders to vendors online on Government website. The vendors are selected based on best price and samples of material.

Accordingly the tenders are awarded to selected vendors for a quoted price for a 6 month period.

The vendors comply to the same price even if the prices fluctuate in the market.

 

Now the challenge what I am facing here is,

If the tendered vendors does not supply material, and my client procures it from a different vendor.

The price difference i.e  Market Value - tendered value, is levied as penalty on tendered vendors.

 

Kindly suggest any standard SAP MM functionality, where in this can be carried out in P-P cycle including GL accounts.

BORGR Goods receipt Kanban status changes.

Hi,

 

I am working on the External KANBAN with u201CSummarized JIT callu201D. When scanning empty to full, system trigger JIT calls and same JIT calls has send to vendor via IDOC.

The goods receipt process is with transaction u201CBORGRu201D as material is subjected to handling unit. When we do GR with this transaction (BORGR) the KANBAN status is not changes from u2018REDu2019 to Green upon Goods receipt.

When if we use PJWE for Goods receipt system giving error, Posting GR for JIT call XXXX, item 0010 must be confirmation-related. If we do GR I hope status would change from Red to Green. But it is not allowing to use PJWE, if we do GR using BORGR system able to post goods receipt but. Status is not changing from Red to Green.

Could anyone please suggest me what is going wrong? I want to use transaction BORGR for GR and want the status of KANBAN should change to u2018Greenu2019 if goods receipt done.

I know kanban status changes only, if goods receipt or inbound delivery has the kanban information or else it will not update the status. Now question how to bridge link between inbound delivery and kanban so it can changes the status upon goods receipt with inbound delivery using BORGR.

I have the following scenario :

 

Stock upload has been done through movement type 561 . I want to reverse few of these documents and do GRN through movement 101 against purchase order .

 

Is there anyway that collective reversal of material document generated through movement 561 can be done.

STO pricing


Hello All,

 

My company wants to control the pricing on Stock transfer orders (to be more specific - to control the accounting document and postings).

Currently we have the default schema from SAP: RM2000 - which as you all know - has a condition P101 in it.  P101 uses the standard price of the sending plant vs. the receiving plant.  Differences post against receiving plant.

 

We want to change this so that we use a new Z condition where we control the actual price origin.  I created a new schema and a new condition (and linked it via configuration: "Define calculation schema".

I see my new schema, and condition.

However...

when we POGI the delivery  - the accounting document that is created is still using the standard price of the receiving and supplying plant.  I updated the Delivery schema and that is not being recognized either.  Accounting document is still standard price.

 

This scenario is not "inter-company" - it is within same company code "intra".

 

I realize that I am suggesting a 'non-standard' SAP approach - but was hoping that some of you creative pricing gurus would have an idea on how I can get my schemas recognized...

In ME54N, you can see the release code (CODE) that was chosen in the release strategy.  Is there a way to report PR's by Release Code, historically.

 

Else where, I saw a reference to ME5F.  This doesn't seem to work for me.

MRP not generating Sch. Lines for Subcontracting Scheduling Agreement with Configurable Material

Hello everybody,

 

I am facing an interesting issue. I have a material that my company is selling. This material is provided to my company by subcontracting.

 

So within SAP I have the following:

 

A Sales Scheduling Agreement to sell this material. This material is a configurable material, so in the Sales Scheduling Agreement, this material has some values in its characteristics.

 

A Subcontracting Scheduling Agreement to procure this material.

 

My intention is that when I run the MRP, this will generate Schedule Lines in the Subcontracting Scheduling Agreement. This works perfectly if the material is not configurable; but if it is configurable, the MRP does not generate schedule lines but Purchase Requisitions.

 

I get this strange message when creating the sales scheduling agreement:

 

Message V4338 - No BOM explosion occurs in scheduling agreements for suppliers.

 

And analyzing the Subcontracting Scheduling Agreement, if I try to create Scheduline Lines manually (tx ME38) I get this error:

 

Message 61258 "Configured BOM could not be exploded"


It seems that the Purchasing Subcontracting Scheduling Agreements do not support Configurable Materials, because with Purchase Requisitions it works perfectly.


I'd appreciate any ideas.

Stock in MMBE and Material document's total is not matching

Hello Guys ,

 

We have 2 batches for material 10XXXXXX. Each batch is showing 2790g as stock in 0XXA storage location.

But when checked the material document's history related to this material they are not not summing up to the same figure which we had stock in MMBE.

SO please help me why there is a mismatch of stock between MMBE and MB51 ?

Incorrect Account Assignment Category determined

Hello All,

 

As far as I know, the Account assignment category is determined from the "Requirement Class" which in turn is determined from the "Requirement Type". In the Requirement Class, Account assignment category "E" is maintained. But in the Sales Order and subsequent Purchase Order, the Account assignment category "X" is appearing. What can be the reason? How is Account assignment category determined in Sales Order/PO?

Parked Documents during Year End Closing

Hi FI Experts,

 

I am an ABAP developer and need some help from some with FI expertise.  My company currently uses a Workflow to approve invoices.    We noticed that invoices parked in December (and not yet posted) were deleted and recreated in the new year.  See the screen shot for the message via MIR4.  This is causing a problem for us as the approval process in the workflow is essentially broken for the Year End Processing.  

 

1. Can anyone explain to me how this process occurs, i.e. what transaction deletes and recreates the invoice?

 

2. Currently, we have only found cases for invoices related to MIR7.  Could this happen for invoices that do not have a PO and are parked via FV60?

 

3. Does anyone have any suggestions on how can we identify these invoices in order to keep our Workflow processing?  It looks like the Reference field (XBLNR) is updated in RBKP but I am not sure if this is the best way to identify this scenario.  Also RBKP is only good for the MIR7 parked documents so the FI documents are a mystery to me at this point.

Message (output) determination in PO - send external mail

Hello gurus,

 

I want to send the output of all PO's with document type Z1 in pdf to the creators (field created by) of the PO’s by mail when they are saved.

I used the transaction MN05 to change the message transmission medium to 5 (External send).

But I don’t know which Partner Function I have to choose and how the system will determine the partner (PO’s creator).

And after that, do I have to do other settings?

SAP is already configured to send external mails.
