Negative Quantitty
It is possible to see negative stock in transit when we are running Stock Transfer Order on Cross-Company scenario (between different plants from different
company codes).
In Cross-Company Stock Transport Orders there is not "real" stock in transit: we do not have stock in transit updated in any table
(MARC-TRAME is only updated in the case of Intra-Company Stock Transport Orders, it is never used in the Cross-Company scenario).
The stock in transit is "virtual": it is dinamically calculated by the program via the purchase order history, as the difference between the
goods receipt and the goods issue quantity.
Since we do not have any real stock in transit, it can indeed be negative, when the goods receipt is posted before than the goods issue.

In order to close the Stock Transport Order, of course the goods issue can still be posted. This will make the goods issue quantity
to match the quantity received.
Rounding Issues - Pending Stock in Transit
It is possible to see pending stock in transit when we are running Stock Transfer Order on Intra-company scenario (between different plants from the same company code). It happens due to rounding issues and this kind of difference is presented in transaction MB5T.
The best way to resolve this case is to post a stock adjustment. You should post a stock adjustment via transaction MB11 by using the movement
types '557/558' to clear the stock in transit (MARC-TRAME field). If you cannot allocate this cost to any cost center, please go to OMJJ transaction and set cost center field (KOSTL) as `optional entry` to the affected movement type.
