Background to my issue: We feed purchasing data to a BI reporting tool, where the PO Statistical Delivery Date is a mandatory reporting field. In error a user removed the field entry from a specific PO, and this caused the reporting tool to crash. To remedy this I am trying to make the PO
Statistical Delivery Date a mandatory entry when in PO Create/Change mode.
Thus far I have completed the following configuration:
- For reference Doc type NB (standard PO) – Field selection group NBF.
- In the following field selection groups, I have marked the field ‘Statistics-relev. deliv. Date’ as a required entry: AKTE, AKTV, ME21N, NBF and PT0F.
Problem is this has no effect and the field is still an optional entry in transactions ME21N and ME22N, it is however a mandatory entry when using the old transactions ME21 and ME22. Also note If i change the field to 'Display' this does have the effect of making the field non modifiable in ME21N/ME22N.
Can anyone advise what I’m doing wrong please?
