BBD and mfg date for batch manged material at MIGO

Hi All,

Before starting this discussion visited forum for stated subject.

We have a case, where in

SLED is active for materials of material type ZXXX and ZYYY

In OMJ5 -> site was not maintained for sled check

                for mvt 101 --> entry 1 is set.

while doing MIGO system allows to key in MFG date BBD date for materials of material type ZXXX

but for ZYYY material type the field is not available.

Kindly let me know how system controlls fields MFG date and BBD date through material type.

As far as sled is concerned this setting is at plant level and movement type level.

Please through some light on the same.
