Purchasing view w/o purchasing values.

Dear experts,

I came across a weird situation and not sure if anyone of you ever encountered this before.

my FERT material is having purchasing view but w/o the purchasing values (PVK)- it has General data| other data/ manufacturing data| Scheduling but w/o purchasing values.

while selecting the purchasing view, it prompts-

'The data for the user department E does not exist in table MARA'.

I cannot extend it as it says the purchasing view is already there. my requirement is to externally procure this FERT material but cannot do it w/o the purchasing values in MM.
