when creating MRP other plant stocks to consider

Dear Friends,

We are using ECC 6.0 EHP

I am explaining our scenario.

We have material XXX in plant A and Plant B.

Requirement :

Requirement 1.: Whenever there is a stock in plant B, and when we run MRP for Plant A and material XXX, it should consider stocks of Plant B of Material XXX. i.e. system should create PR with item category "U"

Requirement 2 : whenever there is no stock in both plants, and when we run MRP for Plant A and material XXX, it should create a normal PR without any item Category.

Requirement 3: Whenever we run MRP for Plant B and material XXX, it should work as standard.

Proposed Solution:

For the above requirement can we do in standard configuration.

I did using special procurement key 40. I assigned special procurement key 40 to plant A,  procurement type as F, special procurement as U and plant B.

With this setting while stock exist in plant B, and when I run MRP for Plant A and Material XXX, I could able to create successfully PR with item category U

But when there is no stock in both plants, when I run MRP for Plant A and Material XXX, PR is being created with item category "U only. This is where I stuck.

Can you tell me am I doing correctly or is there any better way to do this.

Regards,

Sai Krishna
